The Suzuki Method

An Overview

The Suzuki Method of teaching has three main components:

1. It is a philosophy of education
2. It is a curriculum of materials and repertoire
3. It is a teaching technique flowing from its philosophy

 The purpose of Suzuki education is three-fold:

1. To develop, nurture, and empower noble human beings
2. To create talented and motivated learners who apply learning skills in music and any other pursuits
3. To encourage independent, skillful, and lifelong learning
